Purpose

Funds raised by the Foundation will be used to enhance Resurrection's educational environment, to provide tuition assistance to those in need need and to minimize future tuition increases.

The Foundation will provide funds for:

Teacher training and development
Curriculum updates
Cultural enrichment programs
The library
Technological advancements in the classroom
Community service programs,
Upkeep of the playground
Running of the PTO and Father's Club.

Resurrection School is committed to providing a Catholic education which is affordable to all. Despite the best efforts of the school, tuition rates can remain un-affordable for some. The Foundation will ensure that tuition assistance is provided to those who need it.

Tuition covers only a portion of the annual cost to educate each student. The difference between what is paid by all students each year and the cost to educate them must be made up by other resources. Resurrection parish will continue to provide substantial support annually to close a portion of the gap. In recent years the parish subsidy has been $300,000. Funds raised by the Foundation will also be used to ensure that this shortfall is met.
